Hive5 is a marketplace for claim rights arising from loans that lending companies have already issued and funded. Investors acquire existing contractual rights to repayment under an Investment Agreement.
Hive5 operates the marketplace and administers these transactions. It does not issue the underlying loans, arrange a new loan between the investor and borrower, or raise funds for new projects.
Read about our marketplace modelWe are currently reviewing applicable licensing requirements and evaluating licensing and supervisory options for Hive5’s future development. We will share confirmed updates with investors.
Borrower assessment, clear contractual obligations and financial reporting help you evaluate each investment. Here is how these measures work and what to consider.
Practical processes and documents you can review.
Lending companies assess borrowers under their credit procedures; checks may include creditworthiness and affordability.
For all loans on Hive5, the lending company must repurchase the claim rights once a payment is more than 60 calendar days overdue.
Uninvested funds are held in a separate account from Hive5’s operating funds.
Published group accounts include independent audit findings and notes for investors to review.
The applicable agreements define responsibilities and procedures if Hive5 can no longer operate.
Consider these factors alongside the measures in place.
Repayment still depends on the borrower; delays or defaults can reduce the amounts you receive.
Buyback remains a contractual obligation. Payment depends on the lending company’s financial capacity.
Separation does not eliminate bank, operational or insolvency risk and does not guarantee recovery.
An audit adds independent scrutiny; it cannot guarantee future solvency or investment repayments.
Technical failures or insolvency may interrupt servicing, delay repayments or lead to incomplete recovery.
Understand each contractual protection. Buyback is the lending company’s contractual obligation. Review the trigger and repayment terms in your Investment Agreement.
Explore each risk, how it may affect your investment and the measures in place to address it.
Lending companies assess affordability and creditworthiness according to their own procedures. The checks vary by product and market; borrower defaults remain possible.
Group risk leadership monitors portfolios, while financial reports help investors assess the business. Liquidity or solvency difficulties can still affect repayments and buyback.
Investment agreements define your rights if Hive5 becomes insolvent. Transaction information would be provided and new investments stopped. Servicing and repayments could still be disrupted.
A sale on the Secondary Market can only be completed if a buyer is found. Listing an investment does not guarantee a sale, so be prepared to hold it until repayment.
Our lending companies serve different markets and customer segments. Because they share a group, difficulties can affect several companies at once. Consider your combined exposure.
We work with legal advisers on our marketplace model. Changes in law or enforcement can affect operations and recovery; agreements remain central to assessing your rights.
We publish dated reports and updates so you can distinguish audited accounts from recent platform figures. Past returns do not predict future performance.
Local teams assess lending in their own markets. Changes in employment, business conditions or exchange rates can still affect borrowers and lending companies.
Identity verification supports account checks. Keep passwords and email access secure, and report suspicious activity to support. Fraud, technical failures and process errors remain possible.
Understand the risk. Investing involves the possible loss of some or all of your capital. Investments are not covered by a deposit guarantee or investor compensation scheme.

Hive5 operates a marketplace for claim rights arising from loans already issued and funded by lending companies. Our current legal position is that this model does not require authorisation as a crowdfunding provider, investment firm, payment institution or e-money institution in Croatia.
Read our marketplace and legal overviewYour balance consists of funds available for investment or withdrawal. When you invest, those funds are used to acquire contractual claim rights under an Investment Agreement.
They are held in dedicated investor-funds accounts, separate from Hive5’s operating funds, with accounting records and reconciliations. This is not statutory deposit protection.
The buyback obligation applies to all loans on Hive5. Once a payment is more than 60 calendar days overdue, the lending company must repurchase the claim rights with accrued interest. Payment depends on its financial capacity.
Review the company’s lending model and operating market, the stated interest rate, investment term and repayment schedule. Make sure you understand the investment risks, buyback terms and your total exposure across Hive Finance Group.
The lending company makes the credit decision and services the loan. Its checks depend on the product, borrower and local market.
If Hive5 becomes insolvent, your Investment Agreement with the lending company remains in force. Hive5 would stop new investments, provide your transaction records and return available uninvested funds where permitted by law. Servicing and payments could still be delayed.
If a lending company becomes insolvent, it may be unable to make repayments or fulfil its buyback obligation. Recovery would follow the procedure in your Investment Agreement and applicable law. Payments may be delayed, and the amount recovered may be less than the amount invested.
You can sell an investment on the Secondary Market before its repayment date if a buyer is found. Offering a discount of up to 50% lowers your sale price and may help attract buyers, but it does not guarantee a sale. If no buyer is found, the investment remains in your portfolio under its repayment terms.
