Which countries are restricted?

Hive5 does not accept investors who are citizens of countries included in the European Commission’s High-Risk Third Countries list.

The current restricted countries are:

Afghanistan
Algeria
Angola
Bolivia
British Virgin Islands
Cameroon
Côte d’Ivoire
Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Haiti
Iran
Kenya
Laos
Lebanon
Monaco
Myanmar
Namibia
Nepal
Russian Federation
South Sudan
Syria
Trinidad and Tobago
Vanuatu
Venezuela
Vietnam
Yemen

Bank and payment account availability

Due to country-specific regulatory requirements, Hive5 currently does not support bank or payment accounts opened with institutions or branches registered in:

Lithuania
Latvia
Poland

These restrictions may change if the applicable legal, regulatory, compliance or country-risk requirements change.
